I grew up and worked in the area Irvine Welsh based Trainspotting upon.
I love instruments, their shape, their individual voices and the ingenuity that went into constructing them. From the simplicity of a thumb piano to the complexity of a synth, all speak of our need to let the spirit be heard.
My first 'guitar' was an egg slicer.
When I was born I was tongue-tied. The surgeon who repaired this informed my mother I would never be a great talker. She has never forgiven him for lying to her and often wishes it were true.
I strongly believe that art and music speak directly to your soul
I love the innocence of children and the wisdom of the aged.
I'd love to be able to draw but my hands refuse to comply
The only thing to exceed war as an abomination are the excuses made for waging them.
